Hans Klingler
Vice-President
Hans has been involved in government and politics for more than
20 years. He has broad experience in governmental affairs at
the state and federal level, having worked as a Congressional
staff member and, more recently, as a public affairs consultant
for Jim Arnold & Associates.
Hans’ work includes legislative and administrative
advocacy work in Texas and federal appropriations work for
the firm’s clients in Washington, D.C.
The Political Director for Governor Rick Perry's successful
bid for Lieutenant Governor of Texas in 1998, Hans worked
for Perry in the Lt. Governor's Office through Perry's first
legislative session.
Before working for Perry, Hans served in various capacities
for U.S. Senator Phil Gramm, both as regional director and
as regional political director, and including work on Gramm’s
presidential and United States Senate campaigns in 1996.
Hans has been involved in numerous statewide and local campaigns
in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama, and has worked
in the Texas Legislature for several Texas House members.
Hans joined the firm in 1999. He has a Bachelor of Arts in
Political Science from Texas Tech University and is married.
